First haircut....

I took my 2 year old in for his first "official" haircut today.  I've been holding out as long as I possibly could, because I just couldn't bring myself to cut off his baby curls.  I'm actually happy with the outcome!  My baby is becoming such a little boy in so many ways, and I think this haircut really brings out his growing personality :)  

Of course, I was the crazy woman there with my camera documenting this momentous occasion!

Happy Summertime!

After this hot weekend, it feels like summer is here to stay!  There is nothing better than being in or close to the water when it gets this hot!!  I couldn't resist these shots taken of my 2 year old son playing in the pool at his grandparents house.  I hope you are all enjoying your summer so far!!

Welcome to the world!....

It's always a challenge to photograph a newborn with an older sibling, especially when the older sibling is a very cute and charismatic 3 year old who loves the camera!!  I had to remember to capture the new little guy, since I could have snapped away at her all afternoon!  Here are just a few....

Gone too long....

Where did I go?  So many things have been going on and I have neglected my blog!!  A lot of exciting things are happening and I promise to keep you posted!  In the meantime, I need to catch up on some shoots. Here is something different.  I've been wanting to shoot a bride for some time now, and I finally had the chance with this gorgeous bride.  I have to say she made my job EASY!  I think we both had fun...and who knows, maybe I'll do more?!.....

Tiny bit of sweetness....

I got the last minute call to photograph this tiny bit of sweetness, who arrived 3 weeks early!  She was only 6 days old here.  She was a dream to photograph, sleeping through most of our session.  She didn't mind at all, being moved around, changed, head band on...hand band off....she was in la la land!  I really enjoyed the rainy morning watching these new parents dote on their brand new baby girl.  No doubt, this little angel will be loved.  Thank you for letting me capture these precious moments.

A day at the beach....

There isn't much about the beach that I don't like.  In fact, I don't think there is anything about the beach that I don't absolutely love!  The smell of the sea air, the sound of sea gulls, the water lapping onto the shore....bliss.  I had a fun shoot this past weekend down in Capitola, one of my favorite little beaches! These little ones were so cute, and so much fun to chase around on the beach!

Miss T turns 3!...

Just wanted to share a few non-work related pictures here from a fun Princess party we had the pleasure of going to over the weekend.  This little princess birthday girl really sparkles in her personality and stole the show for sure!!  It was so much fun to be a part of celebrating good people with wonderful kids.  Here are just a few....

Springs around the corner...

or so it seems with this fun clad clan!!  The sun finally came out of hiding this past weekend, and we were finally able to do this shoot, after several weeks of rescheduling.  I had a great time walking, and talking, and capturing this fun little family in the park.  And just look at those eyes!!!  Gorgeous!  And this beautiful momma also happens to be a very talented floral designer.  Check out her work here.
